Getting Around

B

asalt is accessible by highway 82, which runs from Glenwood up to Aspen. A small local community that was once a train station during the 1800s serves as home for some great activities year around. Getting here isn’t as hard as you would think, it’s as simple as taking a right (or left if your heading west) on I-70 to get on highway 82. Travel to and from Basalt is the same as it would be for anywhere else in the Roaring Fork Valley. Airports are in Grand Junction, Eagle, Aspen put you a short drive to Basalt and DIA is just a few   hours away.
